Sunlit Forest

Inspired by exploring national parks, I am captivated by the light that shines through the trees. In the background you see the haze of bluey-green mountains and the impression of what could be pine trees. The middleground is almost an illusion of vertical poles representing eucalyptus trees. In the foreground you follow the golden path of dabbled light. This could be anywhere.
 
Note this painting has a textured underpainting from layers. A blocked in approach was used for the sky.
